Our Story and Mission
I’m Kevin, the founder of College Credit Pro, which I created with the help of other graduates who also used CLEP® exams to improve their college experience. We come from different backgrounds, and through our teamwork, we built College Credit Pro to help students use CLEP exams to better achieve their educational and life goals. I enjoyed most of my college classes, but I also stayed actively involved outside the classroom through jobs, internships, sports, and hobbies. By passing CLEP exams, I was able to graduate a year early, save tens of thousands of dollars, and focus on my career goals. We share similar stories, and that’s why we created College Credit Pro, to give other students the tools and clarity they need to succeed.
Discovering a Better Path Through College
I first learned about CLEP exams in high school from a friend in college who was on track to graduate early after passing several exams. Earning college credit by passing a multiple-choice exam sounded almost too good to be true, so I decided to look into it further. After doing some research and preparing, I took two CLEP exams the summer before starting college and several more after that. Passing those exams allowed me to graduate a year early, significantly reduce my education costs, and gain far more flexibility in my course schedule.
Surprisingly, very few students are aware of CLEP exams, and in my opinion
it's the best kept secret of higher education. With proper preparation you can bypass the quizzes, tests, and group projects you'd need to take over four months by passing one exam. However, the biggest challenge I faced while studying for CLEP exams was not only the lack of study materials, but also the difficulty determining which exams would count toward my degree.
My team and I set out to solve this issue by creating a comprehensive course that guides students through everything from registration to relevant practice exams. We knew what needed to be included because we’ve taken these exams. With proper studying and preparation, it's possible for anyone to pass CLEP exams. Our mission is to help as many students as possible lower their education costs and save time, so they can focus on achieving their academic and life goals.
