Where can I take CLEP exams?
If your college or university accepts CLEP credits, it's likely they offer testing on campus, and you can confirm this during registration. Students often receive a discount on testing fees when they take an exam at their educational institution. Additionally, there are over 2,000 testing locations nationwide, and remote proctoring is available if you prefer to take the exam from home.
What score do I need to pass a CLEP exam?
A score of 50 is generally required to pass, though this may vary depending on your educational institution’s policies, so always double check.
How long does it take to receive CLEP exam results?

Will CLEP credits transfer if I switch schools?
In most cases, CLEP credits can be transferred to another school. However, just as some schools may not accept certain transfer credits, there’s no guarantee the new school will accept all CLEP credits. It’s important to research the credit transfer policies of the educational institution you plan to transfer to, ensuring your CLEP exams align with their requirements.
Can I take a CLEP exam to earn credit for a class I failed?
In most cases, you cannot use a CLEP exam to earn credit for a class you previously failed. However, policies can vary, so it’s always a good idea to check with your school to confirm their specific rules regarding this situation.
